The industry is experiencing a sense of optimism, one that TRUMPF shares. The company recently submitted its initial preliminary figures for the 2005/2006 fiscal year. With record figures for orders received and for sales, the laser and machine tool manufacturer will successfully close out its fourth year of growth in a row. Sales climbed by 18 percent to 1.65 billion Euros. TRUMPF recorded a greater increase of 20 percent for orders received, bringing it up to 1.76 billion Euros. “After an excellent last year, again we have a good year ahead of us,“ summarizes Dr. Mathias Kammüller, Managing Director of the Machine Tool and Power Tool Business Divisions, in looking back and ahead with optimism.

Trade show visitors can expect a comprehensive range of sheet metal processing products at the TRUMPF booth. With its approx. 2,200 square meter trade show booth (Hall 11, booth number C 32/1-3), the company will be the largest exhibitor at EuroBLECH 2006. Like last year's trade show, once again TRUMPF expects a great deal of interest from industry visitors from around the world. In 2004, over 60,000 visitors from 55 countries flooded Hanover to attend EuroBLECH 2004.

Internationality is also reflected in the visitor numbers to the TRUMPF booth. At EuroBLECH 2000, about 30 percent of the TRUMPF trade show visitors came from overseas, and their attendance has continued to increase to 45 percent at the last count (EuroBLECH 2004). This is proof of the growing internationalization of business, which is also reflected in TRUMPF's last fiscal year. During its course, the strongest growth stimuli came from Eastern Europe, North America and Asia. But even in Western Europe and in the German domestic market, demand has risen.

With a view to EuroBLECH 2006, TRUMPF therefore believes that there’s a good chance that the world’s leading trade show in sheet metal processing will confirm this positive trend.
