The positive solution for straight and miter cuts
The KASTOfunctional pivot-type bandsaw is well suited for straight and miter cuts of tubes, profiles and solids. The KASTOfunctional M is operated manually. The semiautomatic KASTO functional U offers a fully hydraulic saw feed without the need for pressurized air assistance. The fully automatic KASTOfunctional A is equipped with the user-friendly KASTO-NC CompactControl. The special design characteristic of all models of the KASTOfunctional family of products is the pivot point position for miter cuts. The pivot point of the saw unit is exactly at the point of intersection of the saw band and the material support edge. The miter angle can be changed without making a length correction to the workpiece, reducing time consumption and costly errors.
For easily controlled mass production cuts: The KASTO Compact Control
The KASTOfunctional A is factory-equipped with the saw control -KASTO Compact Control. It clearly displays all important status and error messages. Function keys have easy to understand symbols which simplify operation and reduce errors. Control functions include incremental feed for short cut lengths and order memory for 30 data sets of length/number-of-pieces combinations. These features aid in increasing both productivity and efficiency.
