Lasertube LT 722D

LT 722D is the eighth generation of Lasertube cutting systems made by ADIGE. A new world standard for laser tube fabrication. Higher productivity, flexibility and easy to use feature this model and make it suitable to process efficiently both low and high volume batches.
A higher productivity rate of 30% plus has been the priority in designing this model. The higher the complexity of the part to cut the higher the benefit.
Together with the LT722D ADIGE introduce also the LT823D with an extra tilting head, completing the range of lasertube cutting systems offered:
LT120 suitable for light tubes – LT 905D for 3D cut of pre-formed tube - LT COMBO a combined system for sheet metal and tube processing – LT JUMBO for large structural tube and profiles up to O.D. 508mm.
This is the most comprehensive and technological range available on the market to date confirming BLMGROUP’s leadership.
ArTube and LT722D
ArTube is a CAD-CAM software to design, program and manage the laser tube cutting process and is fully integrated with the LT722D enhancing its efficiency and productivity level. ArTube is a proprietary software designed and dedicated to tube fabrication allowing to go from a drawing to the finished part within ten minutes..
Main features are: - design and generate programs for single tubes (CAD-CAM) or tubular frames and structures (ASSEMBLER) - create programs for special tube shapes - automatic selection of the most suitable laser cutting parameters
- automatic generation of the optimum cutting path - create programs for open profiles - import .step, .iges, .x_t format CAD files
Looking at the main standard features of LT722D:
- Change over is finished in less than 2 minutes and performed automatically by the system. Once the cutting program has been selected by the operator the system automatically manages the set up operations according to the type and size of material. No further tube supporting and guiding tools are required.
- A data base with “ready to use” cutting parameters is supplied standard with the machine including tube of different size, shape, thickness and materials.
This saves material waste and set up times and enables a higher degree of independence from the operator’s know-how.
- Each raw bar is automatically measured in its length and supported during the whole cutting process by CNC controlled and universal supports located upstream and downstream the cutting head. This technical solution assures parts accuracy and consistency.
Optional features to further enhance the machine flexibility include:
- the Anti spatter device for round tubes and stainless steel tube to prevent the I.D. tube walls from getting spoiled by spatters
- Special and new tube shapes as wel as open profiles can be easily programmed and cut on the LT722D with its unique Artube software features .
LT 722D is equipped with diffusion-cooled CO2-Slab-Laser from Rofin offering a very high cut quality associated to low running costs through: extremely high beam quality (K-Factor > 0.9-0,8) - Significant low maintenance cost (no moving parts in the resonator) - Very low lasing gases and electric power.
